Sergio Rodriguez
Meet Sergio! Sergio is the General Manager of Forks River Construction. He continuously goes above and beyond both for our clients and for his team! Sergio oversees the day-to-day operations of every project, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of quality, craftsmanship, and service. With a strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail, he works closely with the team to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish. Sergio's leadership and dedication helps ensure that every project reflects the standards and values that define Forks River Construction. He enjoys spending time at church and connecting with the Word, and being involved in all aspects of life with his wife and children.
Kathryn Mulcahy
Meet Kathryn! Kathryn is the owner of Forks River Construction. With over a decade of customer service, sales, and organizational experience, Kathryn is thrilled to be turning her passion of making people happy towards Forks River Construction’s customer experience. Kathryn has been blessed with an incredible family that has taught her that memories are truly life’s greatest treasures and she is excited to incorporate this belief into each Forks River Construction project. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, East Tennessee business is nothing new to Kathryn’s family - her grandparents owned and operated Cox’s Sporting Goods in Morristown, TN for twenty years and she is certainly excited to be getting back to her roots!
Matt Mulcahy
Meet Matt! Matt, also one of Forks River’s owners, is the Lead Builder on the team. As a husband and father, Matt understands the importance of having a home that fits the needs of each individual family. That is why he has focused on custom jobs for his clients for the past 31 years. In 1986, he started his career in construction by opening his own business, Mulcahy Contracting, in New England. His focus was restoring historical homes back to their original beauty while updating them with modern conveniences. He has experience in everything from custom farmhouses to luxury modern city homes. A true family man, Matt has always had a passion for creating homes in which families can experience the same joy and love he always feels with his own family.
Genevieve Hodge
Meet Genevieve! Genevieve has been a valued member of the Forks River Construction team for over three years and currently serves as Executive Coordinator. She manages bookkeeping, office administration, and daily operations, helping keep the company running smoothly. Through her role, she has developed a passion for the financial side of small business and enjoys supporting the company's growth behind the scenes. She earned her degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, where she developed the analytical and problem-solving skills she now brings to her work each day. Outside of work, Genevieve enjoys running, spending time with her husband, and exploring the outdoors.
Kean O’Steen
Meet Kean! Kean joined Forks River Construction as a Consulting Sales Intern in January 2025 and quickly became an essential part of the team. Through his dedication, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn, he has grown into his current full-time role as Assistant Project Manager. Kean brings fresh insight and a solutions-oriented mindset to every project he works on. He is currently pursuing his degree in Construction Science at the University of Tennessee and is set to graduate this December. Outside of work, you'll find him staying active—whether he's hitting the gym, training his German Shepherd, Bella, or spending time out on the lake.
Dan Trembath
Meet Dan! Dan has been a core member of the Forks River Construction team for five years and serves as one of our Project Managers. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Alfred State College, he began his career in the construction and remodeling industry, gaining experience managing both residential and commercial projects in New York. Throughout his time at Forks River Construction, Dan has demonstrated strong leadership, patience, and clear communication, helping guide projects from start to finish while ensuring a positive experience for clients. His industry knowledge and commitment to quality make him an integral part of our team. Outside of work, Dan enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, playing baseball, and is currently working toward becoming a homeowner and property owner himself.
Daniel Ham
Meet Daniel! Daniel has been a valued member of the Forks River Construction team for nearly three years and serves as one of our skilled laborers. Prior to joining Forks River Construction, he gained valuable experience working in a modular office factory, where he developed a strong foundation in the construction industry. Known for his attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative approach, Daniel plays an important role in helping projects run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality. He is continually working to refine his craft and looks forward to taking on new challenges and opportunities for growth within the industry. Outside of work, Daniel has a passion for music and enjoys spending his time as a musician.
Cross Brown
Meet Cross! As our sales estimator, Cross develops detailed estimates and works closely with clients, guaranteeing that each project starts with a clear understanding of scope, budget, and expectations. His focus on communication and customer service helps create a smooth and enjoyable experience from the first conversation onward. Cross's ability to adapt to changing circumstances and effectively navigate challenges makes him a valuable member of the Forks River team and a trusted point of contact for clients throughout the project process. Outside of the office, he likes to hike and try out small, local restaurants he comes across while exploring.
Kristen Bailey
Meet Kristen, our Selections Coordinator! She has a degree in interior design and four years in the customer service industry. She plays a key role in guiding homeowners through the design and selection process, helping them choose the finishes, fixtures, and materials that bring their vision to life. She works closely with clients and the project team to ensure selections align with both the design goals and project timeline. With a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces, Kristen helps make the remodeling experience seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. In her free time, she can often be found horseback riding, binge-watching the latest TV series, discovering new coffee shops, and exploring local cuisine.
Alex Nimubona
Alex is a key member of the labor team here at Forks River Construction. He is dedicated to delivering quality workmanship and takes pride in contributing to well-executed, detail-focused projects. Alex is known for his strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards. He works well with the team to ensure each phase of construction runs smoothly and on schedule. His consistency and professionalism make him a dependable member of the Forks River team. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through soccer and other sports, working out, and expressing his creativity through photography and graphic design.
Thomas Wilson
Thomas has been with our labor team since 2025 and is an incredibly hardworking team member who places strong emphasis on detail and ensuring each phase of the project is completed correctly. Thomas takes pride in doing things the right way the first time, helping maintain quality throughout the build process. He consistently communicates with both customers and the team to ensure expectations are clear and aligned. His dedication and reliability make him a valuable part of the Forks River Construction field team. He enjoys time spent outdoors especially with his family, whether that’s having bonfires or swimming at the lake or pool!
