Kathryn Mulcahy
Kathryn is the owner of Forks River Construction. With almost a decade of customer service, sales, and organizational experience, Kathryn is thrilled to be turning her passion of making people happy towards Forks River Construction’s customer experience. Kathryn has been blessed with an incredible family that has taught her that memories are truly life’s greatest treasures and she is excited to incorporate this belief into each Forks River Construction project. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, East Tennessee business is nothing new to Kathryn’s family - her grandparents owned and operated Cox’s Sporting Goods in Morristown, TN for twenty years and she is certainly excited to be getting back to her roots!
Matt Mulcahy
Matt, also one of Forks River’s owners, is the Lead Builder on the team. As a husband and father, Matt understands the importance of having a home that fits the needs of each individual family. That is why he has focused on custom jobs for his clients for the past 31 years. In 1986, he started his career in construction by opening his own business, Mulcahy Contracting, in New England. His focus was restoring historical homes back to their original beauty while updating them with modern conveniences. He has experience in everything from custom farmhouses to luxury modern city homes. A true family man, Matt has always had a passion for creating homes in which families can experience the same joy and love he always feels with his own family.
Austin Moniot
Meet Austin! Austin has been part of the Forks River family for just over two years and has recently stepped into the general manager role. Before joining Forks River, he worked for a family company in Indiana doing irrigation, landscaping, and remodeling! After striving to start a new journey, Austin moved to Tennessee in the winter of 2021. With previous experience in a family-owned business, he is passionate about construction projects and is extremely family-oriented! Not only is he reliable and focused on details, but Austin is also great with his communication skills, which makes him a great sales manager. His hobbies include following the NFL as a steelers fan, Notre Dame college football, and golfing.
Genevieve Hodge
Genevieve has been part of the Forks River Construction team for over two years and now works full-time. She handles bookkeeping and supports the team with office administration and daily operations, helping ensure everything stays organized and on track. She’s currently finishing her degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Tennessee and will graduate this December. Outside of work, Genevieve enjoys running, spending time with her husband, and exploring the outdoors.
Kean O’Steen
Meet Kean! Kean joined Forks River Construction as an intern in January and has quickly become an essential part of the team. Now working in a consulting role, he brings fresh insight and a strong work ethic to every project. Kean is currently pursuing his degree in Construction Science at the University of Tennessee, where he’s entering his senior year. Outside of work, you’ll find him staying active—whether he's hitting the gym, training his German Shepherd, Bella, or spending time out on the lake.
Dan Trembath
Dan, our senior team lead, has worked for Forks River Construction for three years! After receiving his bachelors in construction management from Alfred State College, Dan began working in the construction and remodeling industry. With experience in project management and remodeling on residential and commercial projects in New York, Dan makes an awesome team lead! Here at Forks River, he has demonstrated patience, leadership, and thorough communication on each project he has completed. He strives to be a home- and property owner himself! When he is not leading a project, Dan enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing baseball!
Daniel Ham
Daniel, one of our skilled laborers, has been with the Forks River Construction team for a couple of months. With two years of experience in a modular office factory, he has showcased his expertise in the construction industry. Daniel excels in attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective collaboration with his colleagues. He is dedicated to enhancing his skills as a craftsman while aspiring to tackle more rewarding projects. Outside of work, Daniel is passionate about music and enjoys pursuing his hobby as a musician!
